GAL Beef Collagen Peptides are now characterised by properties that surpass even the previous ones: perfect solubility and a neutral taste and flavour. To achieve the effect expected of type I collagens, we continue to recommend taking 10 grams per day.

Collagen is a giant protein found in large amounts in our skin, bones and cartilage. By eating animal skin, bone and cartilage (e.g. bone broth, aspic, etc.) we can also obtain a lot of collagen, but it is very hard to digest. During digestion, collagen is broken down into smaller components, peptides, and then partly into amino acids, and this is how it enters the bloodstream so that it can then exert its effect in the skin and joints.

In our product, the collagen is already present in the form of peptides, i.e. it is pre-digested, hydrolysed. This means its absorption is already good and it does not burden our digestion. This collagen peptide (hydrolysed beef collagen), which requires hardly any digestion, helps preserve the youthful elasticity of the skin and the proper function and flexibility of the joints.

The effect on skin and joints has been demonstrated only in connection with the consumption of collagen peptides, not in the case of non-pre-digested (dietary) collagen. (It is important to note, however, that according to some experts, non-pre-digested collagen from food has a beneficial effect on the stomach and intestinal lining.)

The beneficial effects and physiological benefits of consuming this collagen do not differ from those of our pork collagen.

Recommended use: We recommend 1 heaped tablespoon (10 g) per day for at least 3 months to achieve the appropriate effect. You can consume up to 3 heaped tablespoons (30 g) in total per day. Best with breakfast and/or before bedtime.

It can be mixed into any liquid, even hot soup. Its taste can be easily masked by mixing it into warm water, milk or coconut milk. Sweetened and flavoured with vanilla, it makes a delicious drink. It is even better with muesli stirred in, or with a banana blended or sliced into it. An excellent start to the day.

When measuring with the GAL dosing spoon, the powder should always reach the rim at the end of the spoon head, and the level of the powder spread out horizontally should reach the point on the handle shown in the illustration. After the scooping motion, you can reduce any excess to the desired level by tapping gently. After a try or two it becomes an easy routine.

Shelf life: After opening, always reseal the product carefully; this way it remains consumable for half a year.

Do not exceed the recommended intake! The product is not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle. Store out of the reach of children.
